Baptismal Preparation of Children

The preparation for baptism is designed to help parents understand the theology of the sacrament and help them prepare for the baptism of their child. Parents need to complete a baptismal information form that is available at the parish center and attend an interview and two classes prior to the baptism. We create and maintain the environment of St. Linus church for the major liturgical seasons and feasts, as well as special holidays like Mother's Day and Thanksgiving. It's lots of fun and hard work, but very rewarding when we see how we have enhanced the worship space. Come and help---we always need men and women to help with major feasts.

We bring together seniors, 50 years and older, for an afternoon of fun and relaxation. We share a potluck meal and often play bingo for prizes. We have many outings, bus trips and special events.
