Mustard Seed Communities (MSC)

Inspired by the healing and caring ministry of Jesus Christ, we aim through the positive interaction of caring, sharing and training, to uplift the most vulnerable members of society, especially the disabled and abandoned children, and marginalized communities. We are committed to the fostering of homes and communities that will lead us all to loving service and mutual respect, bringing us joy, hope and dignity.

MSC was founded in 1978 by Fr. Gregory Ramkissoon in a town on the outskirts of Kingston, Jamaica, where he saw an overwhelming need to provide care, shelter, and spiritual nourishment to mentally and physically disabled children who had been abandoned on the streets to suffer alone. Since its inception, MSC has opened several community homes throughout Jamaica, as well as in Haiti, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, and Zimbabwe.

MSC has expanded to also serve children with HIV/AIDS and abused pregnant young women and their babies.
